Volatile. Uncertain. Complex. Ambiguous.
We are working harder and longer and satisfaction at work is at an all time low. Organisations are reporting high levels of stress, conflict, burnout and resignation.
Progressive organisations recognise that individual Wellbeing is a critical KPI.
Our sense of Wellbeing determines our ability to adapt to change, develop trusting relationships and remain composed under pressure.
ahathinking's mission is to assist organisations to create psychologically safe workplaces, where every individual's wellbeing matters. We will achieve this through raising awareness, facilitating learning and developing practices essential to today's workplace needs.
Our goal is to improve the wellbeing of everyone we meet. That could be you and your people. Let's get going.
The workplace is critical to our individual wellbeing as it provides the environment for us to develop two of the essential elements for wellbeing:
a place to employ our capabilities
&
a place where our efforts can make a difference
We become unwell if these elements are thwarted.
Our workplace is a significant community for us, it's where we spend a large amount of our time.
Not feeling safe in such a significant environment overflows into our homes and communities.
In some cases the distress experienced can be career ending.
"To perceive the world differently we must be willing to change our belief system, let the past slip away, expand our sense of now, and dissolve the fear in our minds" William James
