PSYCHOLOGIST
I'm a registered psychologist with decades of experience supporting people through some of life's most difficult chapters - and some of its quieter, more private struggles too.
My path to private practice hasn't been straightforward, and it has shaped the kind of clinician I've become. I've lived through significant transitions of my own, and those experiences sit alongside my formal training, in how I understand and connect with the people I work with.
Rapport tends to happen naturally when someone feels genuinely met rather than assessed.
My clinical work over the past years has been in generalist private practice, working with adults navigating anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, later in life neurodivergent diagnosis and general wellbeing. I have a special interest in workplace psychological safety.
I draw on evidence based approaches including CBT, ACT and DBT, and I've spent considerable time studying the intersections of Buddhist philosophy and psychotherapy - an influence that shows up in how I think about suffering, acceptance and the possibility of change. It's less about technique and more about a way of being present with someone.
What matters most to me in a session is that you feel safe enough to share your thoughts - with me, and with yourself. I don't believe people need to be fixed. I believe most people are doing the best that they can, and that with the right support, a little more becomes possible.
